In the Netherlands, “Radio 10 Gold” has a new owner
It’s media conglomerate RTL Netherland, according to Radio Netherland News. The seller is Dutch media Mogul John de Mol, who is known for his success in reality TV shows like ”Big Brother.” The next move—to take the 22-year old radio station that is now heard on cable and satellite, back to a terrestrial radio broadcast. This morning’s Taylor On Radio-Info reports that “parent RTL Group owns 45 TV stations and 32 radio stations in 11 countries. Radio 10 Gold launched in 1988 and that makes it one of the oldest commercial stations in the country.”
