Indianapolis news/talk WIBC creates a TV partnership for news & weather
The plan is for Emmis Communications-owned news WIBC-FM (93.1) in Indianapolis to partner with WRTV-TV, and both the radio and TV news station will share news and weather. Emmis VP/Market Manager Charlie Morgan says, “This partnership will allow us to provide Indianapolis viewers and listeners with the latest information wherever they are, whether they are listening to the radio, watching TV, going online or on their mobile phones." As a part of the deal, WRTV meteorologists Kevin Gregory, Todd Klaassen and Stephanie Ortmann will provide weather forecasts to WIBC-FM, as well as be available for breaking weather news and severe weather situations.
