It takes a "Buckethead", as radio listeners help decorate downtown Orlando for the holidays
The times are tough all around, including Orlando, Florida where budget cuts forced the city to cut back on setting up for the holidays. In steps the host of the “Buckethead Show” on WTKS-FM (104.1), who urged listeners to do for free the work that the city of Orlando couldn’t afford. Central Florida News 13 reports listeners to WTKS donated more than 350,000 lights, and collected canned goods for a local food bank. Buckethead told the TV station, “not only will people be able to drive downtown Orlando and see Lake Eola all lit up … a lot of food went to people who need it this holiday season.”
