It will cost you $300 more to Join AFTRA
AFTRA, the television and radio artists union, has decided to increase the initiation fee to join. At a meeting of delegates in Chicago, the vote was made to raise initiation fees from $1300 to $1600, for new members. This morning’s Taylor On Radio-Info reports it’s the first increase since 2003. The AFTRA Board recommended the change. The American Federation of Television and Radio Artists has about 70,000 members.
