It's a change from talk to country music for WPRS-AM in Paris, Illinois
Out will be talk hosts Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham, and in is country music on WPRS-AM (1440). The 1000-watt daytime & 250-watt night station owned by Midwest Communications changed from oldies to talk in August, 2008. Midwest market manager Bill Cain tells the Paris Beacon News the move has been in the works for some time, saying “We’re bringing back music, but we’ll still have local news in the morning with Steve Hall and still be the home of PHS sports live on the air.”
