J.B. Wilde takes over programming the new "Wild 105.7/96.7" Atlanta
Clear Channel’s new Atlanta simulcast, Rhythmic WWVA/WWLG, hires J.B Wilde as PD. Wilde comes from co-owned CHR/top 40 WMKS and rocker WVBZ, in Greensboro, N.C. The new WWVA/WWLG is calling itself “Wild 105.7 & 96.7,” after recently dropping the name "Groove." Starting on April 11, Wilde (who fits right in with his new station’s moniker), will report to cluster OM Dan Persigehl. Wilde’s career in radio includes stops in Lexington, KY., Harrisburg, Philadelphia and Albany, NY. Clear Channel is actively seeking a new PD of the stations in Greensboro.
