Jeff Roper lassoed by country KCYY San Antonio
Cox country KCYY (Y100) San Antonio lassos Jeff Roper for mornings, starting Monday, February 13, for the “Jeff Roper And the Y Morning Show,” joining current on-air co-hosts Clayton Allen and Laurie Pearson. It was only a week or so ago that Roper—who went to high school in San Antonio—cut ties with Clear Channel country WTQR Greensboro, after a three-year stint. Previous gigs include WGTR (Gator 107.9) Myrtle Beach, S.C., WWNU Columbia, S.C., and WSOC-FM Charlotte. At Y100, Roper replaces Jesse James, who departed last month. Join the Raleigh/Greensboro string at Radio-Info.com to rap about it.
