Jimmy Baron returns to Atlanta radio on "Dave FM"
He was a mainstay on Atlanta radio for two decades, until he left in 2006 when he declined a major pay cut at Atlanta’s 99X. The Atlanta-Journal Constitution says Jimmy Baron is making a comeback, this time on WZGC-FM (92.9) where he’ll handle mornings. “Dave FM” PD Scott Jameson tells the newspaper, “I made a list of attributes that I felt were important for a morning man in the year 2009 and Jimmy fit all of them.” Baron’s show debuts on WZGC on Monday.
