Joe Haze is the new PD of San Diego's "Channel 933"
Joe knows CHR KHTS-FM (93.3) well, joining the Clear Channel-owned station when it started up as music director and working as an overnight DJ. He succeeds Jimmy Steele, who was promoted to OM for Clear Channel San Diego. Steele says, “His passion for the station, level of experience and knowledge of the San Diego market, along with the respect of his peers make him the right choice to lead our programming efforts and continue to grow the Channel 933 brand.” Prior to moving to San Diego, Haze worked in a number of markets, including Jacksonville, Florida where he was once the guy in the gorilla suit as the mascot for the “Big Ape” WAPE-FM (95.1).
