KABC, Los Angeles talk PD Jack Silver to also oversee classic rock KLOS (95.5)
That news comes to the Orange County Register's Gary Lycan via email from Jack Silver himself. The question about what it means, or whether it will be a long-term appointment, is keeping the Los Angeles Board of Radio-Info.com very busy. The Board was already speculating about the Wednesday layoff of KLOS PD/PM driver Bob Buchmann, among many other pink slips at Cumulus Media's talk KABC (790) and KLOS. We also learn from Gary Lycan that "KABC has grounded airborne traffic reporter Captain Jorge Jarrin, ending his 26-year career at the station." Follow the conversation on the L.A. Board of Radio-Info.com, here.
