Karen Vaughn Named PD of WTLC-FM Indianapolis
Radio One Indianapolis has announced that Urban AC WZAK Cleveland APD/MD/midday personality Karen Vaughn has been promoted to PD of co-owned Urban AC WTLC-FM Indianapolis. She replaces Brain Wallace, who exited the cluster earlier this year. Vaughn is well known for her many years at Cox's Urban AC WHQT “Hot 105" Miami, as well as previously served as MD/middayer on WTLC. Chuck Williams, VP/Market Manager for Radio One Indianapolis notes, "Karen has had phenomenal success at our Cleveland stations. She has played a big role there, helping our company grow its assets in a PPM world while gaining strong major market experience. Her tireless work ethic, creativity, incredible people skills and professionalism will help take our WTLC-FM team to greater levels of success. She will be an outstanding and professional addition to our team." She’ll start her new gig on Monday, Nov. 8.
