KILT-FM's "Hudson & Harrigan" morning team is off the Houston country station
Various DJs have been “Hudson & Harrigan” since the 1960s, back to KILT’s days as a top 40 station. The most recent holders of the name—Fred Olson (Mac Hudson) and Randy Hames (Irv Harrigan)—have been with the station since 1980. The Houston Board of Radio-Info reported first the rumor and then the news that the station is dropping the “H&H” show. The show name is off the website, with sidekick Erin Austin listed for both 5-9am and 11am-2pm. One report on the Radio-Info Board is that afternoon host Rowdy Yates is moving to mornings at CBS-owned KILT-FM (100.3), although VP/programming Jeff Garrison tells Radio-Info.com he’s on the hunt for a new morning show. Follow the talk about KILT-FM and Hudson & Harrigan, including a poster who remembers meeting early H&H stars Hudson Roach and Paul Menard in 1973.
