Kim Amidon officially gets mornings on L.A.'s "The Wave"
As rumored last month, Kim Amidon will take over the morning co-host duties on L.A.’s smooth jazz “The Wave” KTWV (94.7), starting May 17. She joins Pat Prescott, who currently hosts the show with singer/songwriter Brian McKnight. His role will change, to become a periodic guest, and he’ll “contribute to other Wave projects and events.” Amidon has been hosting weekend programs on “The Wave” since February and she recently filled in for McKnight in mornings. She also served as the co-host of mornings on the market’s KOST-FM for 22 years. In addition to her work on KOST, she’s worked for L.A. stations KRTH, KHJ, KUTE, KACE and KOLA. Discuss it.
