KLHB (98.3) Corpus Christi trades Tejano for Spanish Hits
“Club 98.3” KLHB in Corpus Christi shifts from Spanish-Language Tejano music, to Spanish-language hits from the 70s, 80,s and 90s, as “Recuerdo”. Much of the air staff has been laid off as well, including PD Luis Munoz, and morning team Gabe Rivera and Delma Garza. The Caller Newspaper quotes station marketing director Lisa Hinojosa, “Sales are good and we’re having a tremendous year … but we wanted to have a wider range of listeners” than the Tejano-focused format was pulling in.” Discuss it here:
