KMPS Seattle Hires Johnson & Johnson For Mornings
CBS Radio's country KMPS Seattle has hired the Johnson & Johnson morning show, last heard on similarly-formatted KUBL Salt Lake City. The team had previously worked at the Bull with recently hired KMPS PD Ed Hill. The duo of Tommy and Joe Johnson start work in Seattle on Nov. 7. They previously spent 13 years at KUBL (K-Bull 93FM), and exited in January. They replace KMPS's short-lived Candy & Potter, who departed the station in August. Greg Valentine had been handling mornings since their departure.“The Johnson and Johnson morning show is a proven winner,” says Hill. “Tommy and Joe are a lot of fun and awfully funny. Listeners will love waking up to them and we expect them to be a great start to the day. The Johnsons are all about great content that today’s country listener truly cares about.” Read what the Seattle-Tacoma Board of Radio-Info.com is saying, here.
