Kris Abrams leaves the PD post at CBS Radio's "KOOL" in Phoenix
Abrams tells Radio-Info, “I had a great run. It was simply time to part ways. I leave behind there a lot of great friends at the station and with CBS Radio.” Abrams joined CBS in Phoenix 3 ½ years ago, and in that time was also a PD of country sister-station KMLE-FM (107.9) and the OM for CBS Radio-Phoenix. Abrams made the move to Phoenix from Albuquerque, where he spent over six years as OM at the Citadel cluster. Abrams has also spent time in Milwaukee, Charlotte, and Buffalo, among other cities. Abrams comes from a radio family. His brother Keith Abrams is the OM for Clear Channel Radio in Cleveland. They both got their interest in the business from their father, who was involved in radio. KOOL-FM has not named a replacement. You can reach out to Abrams at kris@krisabrams.com.
