KXL/KXTG, Portland PD James Derby heads to South Bend
Talk KXL (750) and all-sports “Game” KXTG (95.5) have just been sold to Larry Wilson’s Alpha Broadcasting, and now OregonMediaCentral.com reports that Derby is relocating to South Bend, Indiana. There, he’ll be working with John Dille’s Federated Media. His goodbye email to staff wishes Alpha “the very best and hope you all have great success here in Portland.” Derby previously worked at KFXX/KGON in the Rose City of Portland, as well as stations in Eugene (KDUK) and Hillsboro (KUIK).
