The moves at alternative KYSR-FM (98.7) add additional duties for both Venable and Rose. Rose, the station’s programming coordinator and producer of “Music in the mornings with Kennedy”, becomes APD, while Venable, the current afternoon drive host, is promoted to music director. Program Director Julie Pilat says Rose “has a head for marketing, sales and promotions as well. He’s a team player with a firm understanding of what’s needed to assist me in running the 98-7fm Programming Department.” She says of Venable, “(he) has so much experience in the music industry and in this format specifically.”
