"Lake Hartwell Radio" debuts in northern Georgia
WLHR, a brand-new Class A a 92.1, has hired a staff of full-time local news reporters for
each county it serves, and Art Sutton of Georgia-Carolina Radiocasting
tells T-R-I that "local news/community information will be the cornerstone of
the format." WLHR, licensed to Lavonia, Ga., debuted this morning. It's using Jones' country music service for day, and going classic country at night. Visit the new website here: 92.1WHLR.com.
