LA's KROQ (106.7) brings back Stryker & adds Nicole Alvarez for nights
Stryker joined CBS-owned CHR KAMP-FM (97.1) only a year ago, and had previously worked on sister-station modern rock KROQ. He now heads back there for afternoon drive, and CBS Radio SVP of programming Kevin Weatherly tells the Orange County Register, “Stryker is a star in any format, but his true passion lies with KROQ.” Along with Stryker, KROQ moves Nicole Alvarez into evenings. The new line-up on KROQ has Kevin & Bean in morning drive, Kat Corbett from 10am-1pm, Sluggo from 1-4pm, followed by Stryker in afternoon drive and Alvarez from 7pm-10pm. Dr. Drew Pinsky’s “Loveline” is on from 10pm-midnight. On “AMP Radio,” Booker moves into afternoon drive, replacing Stryker, while former XM Satellite Radio host and programmer Michelle Boros moves into middays.
