Last.fm Targets Independent Artists
Last.fm Discover is the newest way fans of the music website can find fresh and upcoming artists from across the globe. This tool allows listeners to search the library of three million tracks and help global music fans with varying tastes make their own discoveries. People will now be able to access different music genres free of charge and without commercials. “Our team has grappled over the years on how to best overcome the barriers of discovering new music, whether it be finding new artists from around the globe, downloading tracks or sharing with friends. Last.fm Discover solves this problem,” said Matthew Hawn, VP of Product.
