Latest March PPMs: Washington's all-news WTOP is #1 in all dayparts
The age 6+ shares from Arbitron's just-issued March People Meter results put WTOP-FM in first place in every daypart during the week, and with double digits for drivetimes and the full week. Bonneville programmer Jim Farley shares his staff memo with Radio-Info.com: In addition to the age 6+ win, WTOP was #1 with adults 25-54, total week, and #1 with men 25-54. Second place in March goes to Clear Channel CHR "Hot 99.5" WIHT, 6.9-6.7-6.7 since the January book. Gainers include public radio news/talk WAMU, now fourth (5.1-4.7-5.4) and Clear Channel's country WMZQ (4.5-4.6-4.9). Also just released: March PPMs for Boston ("Kiss 108" holds onto its 10.0), Detroit (classic rock WCSX soars to third), Miami, Seattle (big win for "Oldies 95.7" KJR-FM), Phoenix, San Diego, Minneapolis, Tampa, St. Louis, Denver (country KYGO climbs into second place) and Baltimore.
