Latest Stern claim: He was offered the host's chair on an existing TV show
The report from MSNBC does not cite which TV show Howard Stern was allegedly offered to host, but it does say he “was approached about a return to TV.” Stern made that claim on his Wednesday show on Sirius XM. It comes at a time when Stern and Sirius XM will have a decision to make about his 5-year $500 million deal which expires at the end of the year, and whether Stern wants to stay on satellite radio. Clear Channel’s John Hogan has been quoted as saying, “we would be the most logical company for him to optimize his exposure and financial return."
