Lindy Named PD At CHR WSTR Atlanta
Scott Lindy, respected radio programmer in Atlanta, was at
liberty after leaving the Clear Channel cluster as ops manager in August. Now
he’s landed a job that won’t require moving. He’s the new PD of Lincoln
Financial Media CHR “Star 94” WSTR. He replaces J.R. Ammons, who exited in early August. At Clear Channel, Lindy
had been directly programming country WUBL (94.9) and talk WGST (640) since
January 2009. Between 1997 and 2002 he programmed Clear Channel’s country WPOC
(93.1) in Baltimore, and later he joined Sirius XM as a country programmer. The Atlanta Board of Radio-Info.com is talking about Lindy and "Star", here.
