Listener Driven Radio expands onto seven new stations
Listener Driven Radio, the online and mobile service that allows listeners to vote for music on your station in real time, adds seven new affiliates. The stations cover several different formats including Classic Rock KLOS Los Angeles, Urban AC WDAS Philadelphia, Hot ACs KSTP Minneapolis and KIMN Denver, Alternative Rock WRFF Philadelphia, Modern AC KCKC Kansas City, and newly launched AC CKEA Edmonton, Canada. Each station can brand the service with their own unique name. In Los Angeles, KLOS is using LDR for its midday feature “Lunch On Demand.” KSTP in Minneapolis is branding LDR.1 on the air as “You Pick It, We Play It,” and invites listeners to pick the “rewind” song every hour during the workday. In Philadelphia, LDR will power a nighttime feature on WRFF called "Majority Rules." Listeners will vote for songs that play each hour on the station's night show.
