"Local Media San Diego" adds programmer Tracy Johnson
Longtime programmer and GM Tracy Johnson has been named as Group Brand Manager for Local Media San Diego's three stations, where he will oversee programming and digital initiatives. LMSD VP/GM Gregg Wolfson says Johnson's "infinite knowledge of both programming and digital media will push our properties to continually remain cutting edge and ahead of the competition." Johnson has over 25 years of programming experience, including as VP/GM of the former KFMB-AM/FM in San Diego from 1998-2007. After that, Johnson became COO of M2O Media and later Executive Vice President of Audience Engagement for Triton Media, where he oversaw partnerships with over 700 radio, television, and print properties. He has also authored three books on radio. Local Media San Diego, formerly Local Media of America, operates Hip-Hop XHITZ-FM (90.3), alternative XETRA-FM (91.1) & XHRM-FM (92.5), all licensed to Tijuana, Mexico.
