DCRTV reports that he was let go, due to fall out from the Donnie Simpson last show. According to DCRTV, Rico was a long-time production assistant at the station, and Simpson asked him to do a mix for his last show, which included an “unapproved song” by Prince … Trenton, New Jersey’s WPST-FM (94.5) has cut loose morning drive host Tommy Jordan, who'd been with “PST” for over 15 years. Chris Rollins will move into the morning slot … Marty Lurie is switching stations, and baseball leagues, announcing he’s leaving the radio booth for the Oakland A’s and going across the bay for pre- and postgame duties on KNBR-AM (680) with the San Francisco Giants … The White House nominates WEDU-TV, Tampa president Dick Lobo to head the International Broadcasting Bureau, which oversees Voice of America and Radio Marti. Lobo must be confirmed by the U.S. Senate.
