Mike Fowler, former President/GM of Citadel’s news talk WLS-AM (890) and Oldies WLS-FM (94.7), returns to Chicago radio as director of sales for ESPN Radio’s WMVP (1000). He replaces John Cravens, who is now President/GM. That’s as reported by Robert Feder of Vocalo.org … LA’s KSPN-AM (710) will change their sports lineup starting April 5, with the local Brian Long and A. Martinez taking the 6-9pm evening slot, replacing “Football Nightly” and ESPN’s “Sportscenter Tonight” … Former Sirius XM VP/advertising sales director Paul Turcotte joins New York’s Newsday newspaper as the publisher of “amNew York” … News/Talk KVGY (1080) Tucson hires Andy Taylor for morning, replacing Jim Bednarek. Taylor was previously heard in the market on Classic Rock KLPX (96.1), and on weekends on News KNST (790).
