There may be cutbacks at other companies, but at Mega's new "Pulse 87" in New York, two staffers are added: former WKTU jock Jimmy "Showboat" Fields will do nights, and former WCAA "Midday Mami" Laura Stylez will do weekends. Already reported last week was the addition of Jewelz Lopez ... In Philly, Greater Media's sports WPEN (950) adds the Content Factory's Dan Patrick 9 am - noon weekdays ... SBS debuts "El Vacilon De Miami" featuring Nio Encendio and the "Pichy Guys" (Alejandro Gonzalez and Maikel Rodriguez) in mornings, on WXDJ "El Zol 95" ... Canton, Ohio's Top 40 WZKL "Q92" will get new "old" call letters. It re-acquires the former calls WDJQ--which it hasn't used since 1992.
