Radio-Info hears from conservative talker WPTI-FM (94.5) Greensboro, NC, where KDKA, Pittsburgh's (1020) weekend talk host Dimitri Vassilaros is heading south for a full-time gig. He'll do the local morning drive shift on "Rush Radio" starting after Christmas. They had been running "Best of Rush" taped shows in mornings ... Philadelphia's Tango Traffic, scheduled to debut next year on WPHL-TV, names former WBEN-FM (95.7) DJ Jason Lee as a morning co-host ... At Bonneville's St. Louis sports/talk WXOS-FM "ESPN" (101.1), the afternoon "Fast Lane" team of Randy Karraker, Bob Ramsey & D’Marco Farr all receive three-year contract extensions ... Another sports talk host staying put is XEPRS-AM "XX Sports" (1090) Lee "Hacksaw" Hamilton, who gets a 2-year contract extension to remain in middays ... In Phoenix, Clear Channel's news/talk KFYI-AM (550) has re-branded from "The
Valley's Talk Station" to "Fox News Radio 550 KFYI" ... Delmarva Broadcasting's WSTW-FM (93.7) in Wilmington, Delaware will be losing night DJ Mike Shaffer. He's rumored to be heading south to Knoxville, Tennessee for nights on WWST-FM "Star" (102.1) ... The University of Florida-owned WRUF-FM (103.7) "The Gator" is asking listeners to choose the logo for its new country format. Details on their website soon.
