Making Moves: Tuesday Morning

Veteran programmer Mike Tierney is named VP of Broadcast Operations for alternative WFNX (101.7) Boston. Tierney’s programmed in New York, Seattle, and at VH1 … Tim Spence gives up his programming duties at Sports KKFN “104.3 the Fan” Denver, but he continues to program the cluster’s KEPN “ESPN 1600” … More good news for former New York personality Elvis (not syndicated morning man Elvis Duran, but the former WXRK personality). We recently reported Elvis’ new morning gig on KFRH “104.3 Now FM” in Las Vegas. He’ll also be heard on owner Ed Stolz’ KREV “Rev FM” , the former KNGY “Energy 92.3” in San Francisco … KLLL Lubbock APD/PM driver Ken Buckner adds MD duties, replacing Neely Yates (who also did middays) … Weekend show “Floydian Slip”, heard for years on WCPV (101.3) Burlington VT, until it modified its format, now goes syndicated, adding “The Wizard” WIZN (106.7) and netcaster WBKM.org.
