Making Moves Voice of America is now providing its Somali broadcasts via mobile phones in Canada. VOA’s new “call-to-listen” service is part of a growing partnership with mobile distribution provider AudioNow. The VOA Somali Service, which celebrates its fifth anniversary this week, is available on any Canadian phone 24/7 by dialing a number posted on the VOA website. A similar service for the Somali diaspora community was introduced in Great Britain last year … Andy O'Riley exits Clear Channel’s rock WMRR (Total Rock 101.7) Muskegon, Mich., after 12 years, to work with festival sponsorship company 8Point Productions. His role with that company, which secures sponsorships for major festivals and a NASCAR Sprint Cup team, will be “executioner,” insuring that client demands are met on-site during events... KJSR Tulsa, Oklahoma PD Chris Kelly exits the Cox Classic Rocker, along with morning host Andy Barber ... Two radio vets will be honored at this year’s Gracie Awards: Syndicated radio personality Delilah and Fox Sports Radio anchor Deb Carson, will pick up their awards at the annual event that honors “Programming created for women, by women, and about women.” The Gracies take place May 22 in Los Angeles.
