Mexican radio news director found executed in his home

José Emilio Galindo Robles was an award-winning investigative reporter who was the director for Guadalajara University Radio. Galindo went missing, then was discovered by authorities in his apartment in Ciudad Guzmán, with a fractured skull and with his hands tied to a bed. In 2004, Galindo was awarded the Bienal Nacional de Radio (Biennial Radio National) for his reporting on private firms dumping toxic waste in the Santiago River.
