Mexico's Grupo Radio Centro gains revenue from LA's "Exitos 93.9"
Mexico City’s Grupo Radio Centro’s top line revenue grew by 18%, and it appears that a big reason for that growth is centered on its LMA with KXOS-FM (93.9). That’s the station it’s been LMAing from Emmis Communications. While overall broadcasting expenses rose just over 8%, Radio Centro’s broadcasting income leaped 65% in the 3rd Quarter, and operating income nearly doubled. GRC operates 15 radio stations, including 12 in Mexico City, along with AM stations in Monterrey and Guadalajara, and the Local Marketing Agreement with KXOS in Los Angeles. They are also a national rep with 108 clients throughout Mexico.
