Michael Baisden says, "Do Something Now"
Syndicated afternoon personality Michael Baisden is passionate about getting his listeners involved - politically, socially, and economically. So much so he’s taking his message on the road with the 2011 "Do Something Now Tour." Baisden, well known for his social activism in 2007 when he spearheaded the “Jena 6” march, is urging his listeners to stop sitting on the sidelines and get engaged on issues such as unemployment, corporate greed, entrepreneurship, and being role models. The tour stops will feature voter registration, business networking, promoting and recruiting mentoring, and a free special screening of Baisden’s film “Do Women Know What They Want?” Baisden is more than just talking about being active. He is active in his own right, having participated in the “Occupy Wall Street” movement in New York this past weekend. Check him out in this interview on YouTube. Previous and Next Stories
