Monroe, LA's new "Fox FM" to debut
The local Monroe News Star reports that Hot AC KBYO-FM (92.7) Farmerville, LA has been sold to Lee Fletcher, and will flip to talk and sports, using Fox news and sports networks. Fletcher is a local businessman and political consultant who is paying around $400,00 for the Class A FM. He plans to build a studio in his "Fletcher Group" building and he'll do the morning show. Other syndicated talk programming will include: Bill O'Reilly and Neil Cavuto from Fox, and Dennis Miller from Westwood. In addition, the station will get to air the Dallas Cowboy games, as previously reported on Radio-Info.com.
