More Denver sports radio shifting as KCKK (1510) flips its lineup
The addition of KCUV-FM (102.3) – now KDSP – as a fourth Denver sports station, and its talent raiding has forced other stations to alter their lineups. KCKK-AM (1510) “Mile High Sports Radio” has been forced to revamp their lineup, following the defections of Les Shapiro, Joel Klatt and Nate Kreckman. The Denver Post says Mile High Sports Radio producers Dustin Comm and Chris Bianchi will have their own show from 6-7am, followed by Eric Goodman & Denver Post columnist Mark Kiszla from 7-9am. Rico and Marcello Romano air from 9-11am, longtime Denver radio host Gil Whiteley from 11am-1pm, and Renaud Notaro with Karl Allis from 1-3pm. Former KCNC-TV sports anchor Mark McIntosh & Jimmy Doogan will handle afternoon drive. In addition to these moves, Radio-Info previously reported that former Denver Broncos lineman and ESPN analyst Mark Schlereth will be joining KKFN-FM (104.3) “The Fan” starting August 2 for afternoon drive, teamed with former Broncos defensive end Alfred Williams and Darren McKee.
