More trouble for former KFAN Minneapolis host Jeff Dubay
The demons continue to haunt former KFAN-AM (1130) sports talk show host Jeff Dubay. A judge has ordered him back to a jail workhouse, after Dubay refused to submit to a urine test, a mandatory part of his parole according to the St. Paul Pioneer-Press newspaper. His troubles began in October 2008, when he was stopped by local police. They claim they saw him toss a bag from his car, allegedly drugs. Dubay, who was later fired by KFAN where he hosted the mid-morning sports show, continued to have trouble with cocaine, failing several drug tests, including one in January. For that offense, he was sentenced to an additional six months in jail.
