Murdered girl's father demands Tampa shock jock retraction
An ongoing battle between Tampa's WHPT-FM (102.5) jock Bubba the Love Sponge Todd Clem and Mark Lunsford has reached a new level. Mark's the father of 9-year old Jessica Lunsford, who was raped and murdered in 2005. Lunsford has already announced he will file a lawsuit against the Citrus County Sheriff's Office over the death of his daughter, but has also set his sights on Bubba because of an on-air interview and this comment: "You have to wait for your daughter to die before you can start raping money from people." Lunsford is demanding a retraction. According to the St. Petersburg Times, this was not the first instance of friction between Bubba & Lunsford, who's setting up a charity in the name of his daughter. Click here to listen to the exchanges between Bubba and Lunsford on the Bubba the Love Sponge website.
