NAB Marconi Finalists are announced
In the closely-watched "Legendary Station" category, three of the five stations are all-newsers, one is all-sports and one is CHR. The all-newsers are CBS-owned KCBS, San Francisco and WBBM-AM, Chicago, plus Hubbard Radio's WTOP, Washington. CBS Radio's all-sports "Fan" WFAN, New York is in there, along with the only music station - Clear Channel's Los Angeles CHR, KIIS-FM. The five "Network/Syndicated Personality" nominees are Bob & Sheri, Clark Howard, Laura Ingraham, Ryan Seacrest and Michael Smerconish.
There are finalists in 19 other Marconi categories, with winners announced at the Thursday, September 15 NAB Marconi Awards Dinner and Show at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago. See all the Marconi finalists - stations and personalities - here.
