NAB/RAB announce the venue for Sept. 14-16 Radio Show in Chicago
The two associations have chosen the Hyatt Regency in Chicago as the site for their second merged Fall Radio Show. It's been known since the first commonly-promoted Radio Show last year in Washington, D.C. that the 2011 convention would be in Chicago, and that the dates were September 14-16. But until this week, there was no information about the actual site, for exhibitors to start their planning. The 2010 Washington Radio Show was also held at a Hyatt Regency. There's no doubt about where the huge annual Spring NAB Show will be staged: It's always in Las Vegas at the Convention Center, perhaps the only facility large enough to accommodate it. The NAB’s homepage for the 2011 Radio Show, with exhibitor and sponsorship information, is here.
