NAB/RAB Radio Show ends with awards, a speech – and a wedding
The NAB’s National Radio Award went to Inner City executive Charles Warfield, a past chairman of the NAB Board and a longtime advocate for radio on Capitol Hill. The luncheon at Washington, D.C.’s Grand Hyatt also heard a newsmaker interview from guest Christiane Amanpour. There was a buzz around the floor about a wedding, too: Longtime Arbitron VP/Research Policy and Communication Dr. Ed Cohen and his fiancee Robin decided to get married during the show, and in an impromptu move, they got hitched Friday night.
