NASA’s New Internet Radio Station
In an attempt to attract a younger crowd to their website, NASA has launched their own radio station online. Third Rock-America’s Space Station plays rock, indie, and alternative music and partners through the Space Act Agreement, which allows it to be developed at no cost to the government. "NASA constantly is looking for new and innovative ways to engage the public and inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers," said David Weaver, associate administrator for NASA's Office of Communications. The new site is available at NASA.gov and will also broadcast updates on missions and discoveries. The Houston Board of Radio-Info.com is talking about "Third Rock".
