New Clear Channel market manager for Charlotte and Cleveland
The Cleveland job came open because Mike Kenney is leaving the President/Market Manager job there to take over the five-station Charlotte cluster that includes “Kat” country WKKT (96.9) and classic rocker WRFX (99.7). Kennedy succeeds Charlotte-based Regional VP Morgan Bohannon. In Cleveland, Kenney’s successor is his director of sales Gary Mincer, an Ohio native who’s worked in Dayton, Columbus, Houston and Cleveland. Clear Channel’s new director of sales for Cleveland is George Allen.
