New Northwest Broadcasters Yakima, Washington stations are on the air, and could be sold
New Northwest Broadcasters six stations in Yakima, Washington are in limbo, operational, but their immediate future is uncertain. KBBO-AM (980), KJOX-AM (1390), KHHK-FM (99.7), KARY-FM (100.9), KXDD-FM (104.1) & KRSE-FM (105.7) were placed in receivership earlier this month, in an effort to keep them out of bankruptcy. The Yakima Herald reports a sale of one or all of the stations is a possibility, quoting Revitalization Partners principal Alan Davis, from the company overseeing the stations, saying “The stations are on the air; it’s business as usual,” and “I can only tell you there appears to be…” demand for the stations. New Northwest Broadcasters owns 31 stations in six markets, including Yakima.
