NewsMax names their Top-25 "Local Limbaughs"
The question by the conservative website NewsMax is, “Who ’s the next Rush in Reno or Hannity in Houston?” According to NewsMax, that distinction goes to KABC-AM (790) Los Angeles conservative and openly gay Al Rantel, known for his voice impressions. Also in the top-5 are nationally syndicated and sometimes Rush fill-in Roger Hedgecock, WTKK, Boston’s (96.9) Jay Severin, the WGN, Chicago (720) team of Kathy & Judy, and Barry Young of KFYI-AM (550) in Phoenix. You can see the entire list assembled by consultant John Mainelli by clicking here. NewsMax measured the talk hosts by using what they claim is a composite of a host’s “reach, influence, reputation, length of service, time slot, community impact, and overall showmanship.”
