Next stop for Lex & Terry syndication exec Peter Welpton: Dallas Morning News
Welpton winds up 13 years with the Lex & Terry morning show next week, and then takes up his new job as a marketing and product development manager for the Morning News, focused on the web and online. Peter says his experience helping the Lex & Terry show introduce streaming, podcasts, an iPhone app and Ustream access will be valuable at the paper. Welpton has been the managing director of rock morning show Lex & Terry since 1997, and moved with them from Jacksonville to Dallas.
