Nick Cannon allegedly announces his (and Mariah Carey's) home number on the air
Ever do something you might regret? In the case of New York City's WXRK-FM "Now 92.3" morning host Nick Cannon, he was discussing his upcoming two-week paternity leave when wife Mariah Carey gives birth to twins. While talking about Carey and how much he'd be missing his listeners while he's off the air, he gave out his home phone number, and then went as far as to call Carey at their home to prove it. Needless to say, Mariah Carey didn't sound too amused to know that hundreds of thousands of people now had their home phone number. Says Cannon, "People are going to think I'm ridiculous and insane for doing this ... This is going to show you how real I am ... I'm going to give you my home phone number." You can listen to the clip of Cannon and Carey and their home phone number here, and if you missed it (no doubt it's been changed), it's 212.524.2998. Carey is expected to give birth any day now, according to Cannon. The Perez Hilton celebrity website has more about Cannon's phone play here. The phone number does come up as "unpublished" and in New York City.Previous and Next Stories
