No FM in the new line of iPods from Apple

The iPod nano keeps its FM capability, but Apple CEO Steve Jobs doesn’t extend the feature into other models. The re-designed nano gets a new touch screen, which lets Apple drop the familiar click wheel. Apple, as rumored, also debuts a new version Apple TV mobile device. It’s now smaller and cheaper (at about $100), and perfect for Netflix streaming and other content deals that Apple has forged with ABC and Fox. Steve Jobs' presentation Wednesday also included the expected update to iTunes. The new iTunes 10, a free download, carries concert information and music-friendly social networking, thanks to an arrangement with LiveNation. Its President/CEO Michael Rapino says the giant company is “thrilled to power the concert listings feature on iTunes, and deliver this new and simple way for millions of iTunes users to purchase concert tickets at LiveNation.com and Ticketmaster.com.”
