Pittsburgh's new "Sportsradio 93.7 The Fan" KDKA-FM announces its airstaff
The first named was the new PD for “Sportsradio 93.7 The Fan,” as ESPN Radio PD Terry Foxx will move from Bristol, Connecticut to the Steel City. PBRTV reports the team of Paul Alexander, Jon Burton and Jim Colony will host morning drive. Burton & Colony both spent time with WTAE-TV, while Alexander has been with FSN Pittsburgh since 2006 and also worked for KDKA-AM (1020). Former Seattle KIRO-AM (710) host Vinnie Richichi and Pittsburgh Post-Gazette columnist Ron Cook will team up for middays, while ESPN Radio’s John Seibel and former Pittsburgh Tribune-Review sports writer Joe Starkey will host afternoon drive. New York’s WFAN-AM (660) midday producer Gregg Giannotti will host the evening show. In other moves, KDKA-AM Sports Director Jeff Hathhorn will add the same duties on the FM side, and handle field reporting along with Kalena Bell. The late evening and overnight hosts have yet to be announced.
